The Neil Campbell Collective Play Late at Tate
On Thursday 27th March 2008 The Neil Campbell Collective will play a special set as part of a Late at Tate evening themed ‘Abstraction to Distraction’ taking place at Tate Liverpool (Albert Dock, Liverpool).
The full event will take place from 6pm starting with a talk by Michael Craig Martin (Rules and Repetition). Michael Craig Martin was a huge influence on the generation of Young British artists (he taught Damien Hirst at Goldsmiths).
Following the talk, at around 7.30pm throughout the Gallery and in the large foyer area there will be a selection of contemporary music and performance art ‘happenings’. These will be followed by a 45 minute set from The NCC at around 8.15pm.
Admission is free for the gig, although there is a small fee for the talk (which you will need to pre-book if you intend to attend).
See Tate Liverpool’s website for more information.
